JTFossey has been involved in the Heavy Transport Business for well over 30 years. It all began when Ford Louisville came to Australia in 1975. Already being the local Dealer for the Ford car range of products it was a quick and easy decision to accommodate the truck range. In 1982 UD came to Australia and JTFossey were given the opportunity to also promote this relatively small company, of a high standard Japanese Truck. The model mix between Ford and UD complimented each other and JTFossey became the first point of call when looking for a Truck. In 1995 Mitsubishi came on board which increased our model availability. Mitsubishi had models that UD did not and they worked extremely well together. The Mitsubishi was primarily sold to local Government and the UD to our retail customers. In 1997 Ford Trucks were sold to Daimler Chrysler and were renamed Sterling. Unfortunately the product did not have the same quality and we decided to surrender the franchise and look further a field. In 2000 we welcomed Volvo Trucks to our already impressive line up. This gave us a cab over prime mover and the ability to engineer specialized built Trucks in the factory in Brisbane. After 5 years of having UD, Fuso and Volvo we had increased our yearly sales volume to in excess of 130 units. In 2006 Mitsubishi changed its name to Fuso and to re-introduce the product with the new name was challenging.

In 2008 we were delighted to become the Mack Truck Dealer. This was evident due to us already having the Volvo franchise and further cemented with having UD, as Volvo owns the 3 products.

In 2009 we welcomed JCB Earthmoving and Construction Equipment into our Dealership. With JCB’s huge model range and its success around the world, we look forward to setting new records in our area for the product. We have employed a designated sales person to handle all our JCB enquiries.

JTFossey are still the leading Dealership in the North and North West of New South Wales with 5 franchise makes, and a model mix that suits almost every application required in our area.

JTFossey are known today as specialists in the Heavy Truck Industry. We have years of Industry experience in all departments of our business and our long serving employee’s have developed relationships with our customers that stretch over many years.
